COVID information Meme
September 2020
Infographic designed to spread awareness about COVID-19. Amid the ongoing pandemic, we were tasked with creating an informative picture, meme or video that reminds viewers of healthy and responsible actions regarding COVID. In our attempt to help people slow the spread, we show that wearing masks, distancing and practicing proper hygiene are crucial to staying safe and responsible.
Gen-Z Voter Image
November 2020
In accordance with the upcoming election at the time, a pivotal event for the United States, media scholars were tasked with creating a piece of media that educates voters with accurate information. In addition, in recognizing how crucial Gen-Z voters (18-24) are to the election, we focused on how to encourage young voters to get to the polls, with a bit of humor, too.
My College Poem
December 2020
I didn't really have expectations.Â
We knew COVID would change things, like it did all year.
But life is about making the most of it, right?
Mask in hand, I did what I could.
I tried the college experience in a year where no experiences followed the rules,
In a year where NOTHING followed the "rules."
Which really teaches me, maybe life doesn't have any "rules."
Because if there were, nothing would come as a surprise.
2020 taught that "rules" were meant to be broken,
And there's very little you can do about it.
